Characters

You get to meet over 70 characters in Argskin! You can learn about their stories and obtain many quests. However, few of them are up to mischief and it will do you good to find out who you can trust and who you should be careful of.

City ward:

The city ward of Deloras patrols through the streets and imposes law and order. Because the crime rate in Argskin has increasingly risen, the security measurements of the town and the demand for capable men have obviously increased. Especially since during the last couple of years the combat power of the city ward and their availability has considerably dropped.

The city ward is commanded by the local trustee of the King, count Lemarios, town lord of Deloras.

Royal guard:

The royal guards are normal forces of the empire Midland and responsible for realising the orders and concerns of the King. They are also under arms during peace times. Subordinate to the royal guard is the city ward and the militia. Every citizen can become a royal guard, however, you need very good recommendations and you have to go through a hard apprenticeship.

Some royal guards are very good soldiers and combatants and others are drunken idiots who only loiter at the beer stands. Generally the royal guard is average equipped and armed. They guard is directly commanded by the King or his generals, and is feared and respected in every corner of the empire.

Count Lemarios:

The noble family Lemarios reigns for many generations over the town Deloras. Supported by the fact that Deloras is the most important trade and nautical town of Argskin, the family Lemarios has high esteem by the duke of Argskin.

Because he usually cares about the concerns of the city, above all the concerns of the city ward, none doubts his reign, although he was appointed to town lord without a free election. However, rumours have it that count Lemarios is also involved in one or other shady business dealings. But this hasn’t been proved yet.

Aribasius:

Aribasius is a highly cultured person of the monastery of light. He teaches the art of magic and alchemy in Deloras. He is also a member of the council of the monastery.

He is held in high esteem in the town and has great knowledge about the history of Midland. Also count Lemarios thinks a great deal of Aribasius, that’s why Aribasius was called in the town hall several times for advice.
